QXCI-28 is an acid corrosion inhibitor. It is comprised of organic substances that help in detaining the chemical action of acids on metal surfaces in the course of pickling and process equipment cleaning.QXCI-28 is used in conjunction with hydrochloric acid and hydrochloric-hydrofluoric acid mixtures.
Acid Corrosion Inhibitors are particularly of acid specific nature that is each inhibitor has been formulated for inhibiting a particular acid or a combination of acids. QXCI-28 targets the inhibition for a combination of acids involving hydrochloric acid and Hydrofluoric Acid which provides it with an advantage to be used in situations where any kind of concentration of these acids are used for carrying out the pickling process of metals.
Pickling: commonly used acids include hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, etc. The purpose of pickling is to remove oxide scale and reduce the loss of metal surface.
Device cleaning: it is mainly used for pre protection and regular cleaning. Most factories have pickling, such as beverage breweries, power plants, pastures and dairy factories; The purpose is to reduce unnecessary corrosion while removing rust.
Advantages : Low-cost, dependable protection over a wide range of temperature.
Economical and effective: Only a small quantity of QXCI-28 mixed with the acids will deliver the desired cleaning effect while retarding acid attack on metals.
