Characteristics: Hydroxyethylenediamine is a colorless viscous liquid, with a boiling point of 243.7 ℃ (0.098 Mpa), 103.7 ℃ (0.001 Mpa), relative density of 1.034 (20/20), refractive index of 1.4863; Soluble in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ether; Extremely hygroscopic, strongly alkaline, able to absorb carbon dioxide from the air, with a slight ammonia odor.

APPLICATION

It can be used as the production raw material of light stabilizer and vulcanization accelerator in the paint and coating industry, the metal ion chelating agent generated after the carboxylation of amino groups, the detergent used to clean the zinc cuprum (copper nickel zinc alloy) coins to prevent browning, the lubricating oil additive (can be directly used together with the methacrylic acid copolymer as the preservative and oil stain dispersant), synthetic resins such as water-based lotion coatings, paper sizing agent and hair spray, etc. It also has certain applications in petrochemical and other fields.

Main use: Used for cosmetics (shampoo), lubricant additives, resin raw materials, surfactants, etc., and can be used as raw materials for the production of textile additives (such as soft films).

1. Surfactants: can be used as raw materials for imidazole ion surfactants and amphoteric surfactants;

2. Detergent additive: can prevent browning of copper nickel alloys and other materials;

3. Lubricant additive: It can be added to lubricating oil in the form of this product or a polymer with methacrylic acid. It can also be used as a preservative, sludge dispersant, etc;

4. Raw materials for mixed resin: Various resin raw materials that can be used as water dispersible latex coatings, paper, adhesive agents, etc;

5. Epoxy resin curing agent.

6. Raw materials for producing textile additives: An important raw material for producing soft films.
