Cocamidopropyl Betaine, also known as CAPB, is a coconut oil derivative widely used in the production of cosmetics. It is a viscous yellow liquid produced by mixing raw coconut oil with a naturally derived chemical substance called dimethylaminopropylamine.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine has good compatibility with anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, and non ionic surfactants, and can be used as a cloud point inhibitor. It can produce rich and delicate foam. It has a significant thickening effect on an appropriate proportion of anionic surfactants. It can effectively reduce the irritation of fatty alcohol sulfates or fatty alcohol ether sulfates in products. It has excellent anti-static properties and is an ideal conditioner. Coconut ether amidopropyl betaine is a new type of amphoteric surfactant. It has good cleaning, conditioning and anti-static effects. It has little irritation to the skin and mucous membrane. foam is mainly rich and stable. It is suitable for dry preparation of shampoo, bath, facial cleanser and baby products.

QX-CAB-35 is widely used in the preparation of medium and high grade shampoo, bath liquid, hand sanitizer and other  personal cleaning  products and  household detergent.  It  is the  main ingredient for preparing mild baby shampoo, baby foam bath and baby skin care products. It is an excellent soft conditioner in hair and skin care formulas. It can also be used as detergent, wetting agent, thickening agent, antistatic agent and fungicide.

Characteristics:

Recommended dosage:  3-10% in shampoo and bath solution;  1-2% in beauty cosmetics.

Shelf life:

Sealed, stored in a clean and dry place, with a shelf life of one year.
