QX-1629 is a cationic surfactant with excellent sterilization, disinfection, care, and anti-static functions. This product is mainly used as the main raw material for cosmetics, such as hair conditioners, curium oil products, etc.

CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE is a concentrated cationic surfactant synthesized by the reaction of hexadecyldimethyltertiary amine and chloromethane in ethanol as a solvent. It can adsorb on negatively charged surfaces (such as hair) without leaving a visible thin film. 1629 is easily dispersed in water, resistant to strong acids and alkalis, and has good surface activity.

Hair dyed, permed or excessively degreased can become dull and dry. 1629 can significantly improve the dryness and wetness of hair and enhance its luster.

This product is a white or light yellow solid, easily soluble in ethanol and hot water, and has good compatibility with cationic, non ionic, and amphoteric surfactants. It should not be used in the same bath with anionic surfactants. Not suitable for prolonged heating above 120 °C.
